Projects

Here are a few projects that I have worked on through out my course at my college. I would greatly appreciate any constructive feedback so I may improve and become better.

 

This is a scene that I had to light and texture for my final project. I still think I can make this better though. Given the time constraints that I had, this came out pretty well. The original challenge was to make a haunted hallway which is what I was going to do. As I started to light the scene, I didn’t want to make a dark haunted hallway so I took a different approach and made it more of a finished basement. There was 3-4 other people in my class that used the same scene and when they printed it, it was all black and you couldn’t see anything.

The scene was downloaded from here Challenge #8: Haunted Hallway modeled by Dan Wade.
The table, chairs, bottle, ash tray, and cigarette were modeled by me.

 








This piece of work was made for my texturing and lighting class. We had to create a matte painting that we could see on the cover of a game or in the game engine. This is my final result. You can click on the image to see and download the full size of it.

This was made in Adobe Photoshop CS3

 


For this project, we had to make a demo reel of all the projects that we worked on throughout the term. A lot of my first renders for the fly through and the animation had very bad compression causing a lot of very odd things to happen. After about 24-36 hours of render time, I finally was able to get a good render. Below is the end result of all of my work.
